Dear T.H. Rogers Community,

My name is Azadeh Behinfar and I am proud to be your Assistant Principal at T. H. Rogers.

I was born and raised in Iran. In 1999, I arrived in Lansing, Michigan to earn my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University. A few years later, the Oil and Gas industry brought me to the Houston area where I worked for 7 years and met my beloved husband, Luis. Together, we have two beautiful children.

After taking a few years break to raise our two kids, I decided to restart my career, but this time by pursuing my true passion for education. I have taught math and science in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades, and have been an instructional coach in different types of schools with a variety of needs for the past few years. During this time, I earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership and Principal Certification, both from Lamar University.

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of teaching 2nd grade math at T. H. Rogers for two years. I enjoyed working with the students and this amazing community, and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces on campus and getting to know everyone this year.
