    We began our competition year with the Southeast Texas Fall Qualifier which was held in Manvel High School on November 4, 2017. We had thirty competitors and twenty white belt helpers, who are learning the ropes for when it's their turn to compete. The competition gets harder each year, so we were very fortunate to earn thirty awards and to qualify for seventy events in the 2018 KSK Regional Championships. We were lucky that Mr. Pineda and Ms. Mottu went with us to Manvel and took many pictures. Here they are for your enjoyment.
     
     
    We will have our Fall Semester Belt Ceremony in the auditorium on December 7, 2017 beginning at 6:00 pm. All participants need to report to the gym at 5:00 pm. See you there.

    We had an excellent Belt Ceremony in the Auditorium. Even our Principal Mr. Knittle dressed up and joined the team!

    April 21, 2018 KSK State Championship in Bryan, Texas
     
    Burbank Middle School has demonstrated the caliber of its Karate students once again. Burbank competed in the KSK State Championship and brought home many medals, including two Championship Rings in the categories of Fighting.
