    Attendance

    - Mr. Buck said that we need to get the attendance up and that teachers need to have incentives in place. We are one student short of the projected amount of students enrolled. We are also funded based on ADA, so we need to focus on the attendance. Need to make sure students go to doctor after attendance is taken.

    Safety

Need to pull the product information sheets to make sure there are not hazardous materials on the campus. Teachers will need to take an in service from Ms. Walker on the hazardous materials. Ms. Walker is concerned because of the plug ins for the scents in the classroom. They can cause fires. We would have to buy the battery operated plug ins to substitute.

    Activity Funds

Carnival is coming up and PTO will help with that. Want to have as many games as possible at the carnival so the money is in the activity funds. Mr. Buck says you always want to make sure you have a cushion for things that come up. Mr. Buck is concerned about the courtesy committee, need to be collecting money. Ms. Walker said that the courtesy committee is planning on setting up a booth at the carnival.

    Construction

Mr. Buck said construction should be over by the end of the month. They will be coming around to come up with a punch list They are supposed to re-key the locks soon. Some of the doors are not closing all of the way.

    Lighthouse Team

Mrs. Adair discussed that the lighthouse team meets weekly and discuss the areas of concern and discuss solutions. Erik Stenlake has been training the staff and parents and he will come back each year to re-train every one. We work with him to try to make the program successful. We send him our weekly notes from the meetings. Each student should have developed his or her own personal mission statement. Each teacher needs to write his or her own PERSONAL mission statement to post and each student needs to write their own personal mission statement. These mission statements should be connected to school, home, community.  Michael Webb is a coach and we will be meeting with him quarterly about the 7 Habits and how effective they are. Part of the parent meetings will be training the parents on the 7 Habits. Mrs. Omidvar will be helping train the parents. The 7 Habits books are available in the library in English and Spanish.
