• E.A.R.L.Y. Fall Tournament
     
    Engineering And Robotics Learned Young (E.A.R.L.Y.) is a program that gives 7 to 12 year-olds the opportunity to apply their knowledge of simple machines in the design and construction of robots. They also may participate in two annual tournaments , completing "missions" designed to stimulate their creativity.
     
    The Southeast Texas E.A.R.L.Y.  Tournament for the Fall 2015 was held at Burbank Middle School on January 30, 2016. These were the teams who participated:

    TWCM: Avengers, Jo-E, Justice, Logan, Thunder, X
     
    Robotics students at Burbank sponsored the event, helping setting it up and serving as referees. These students are: Alexander Rodriguez, Ever Limon, Cristian Portillo, Miguel Martinez, Christopher Torres, Daniel Gonzalez, Kathryn Morales, Alexis Ibarra, Angel Luna, Zeim Sandoval, Reynaldo Martinez, Cesar Arredondo, Evelyn Martinez. Ms. Rebecca Lopez, Ms. Ardath Stewart, and Ms. Frances Cortina were present to coordinate the event. Our PTO was on hand, selling snacks and refreshments to raise funds for our school.
