    SUPERPOWERED: FIRST LEGO LEAGUE

    REGIONAL

    ROBOT PERFORMANCE COMPETITION

    Eagle Bots Robot Performance Team

On Thursday, February 9, 2023, the Eagle Bots Robot Performance team met in Dr. Ortiz's room to take part in the Robot Performance part of the FIRST Lego League SUPERPOWERED Regional Finals Tournament. The Project part had taken place the day before and now they were ready to run their robot through its paces. At 4 o'clock the link was established and Citlali Carbajal got ready to transmit. The performance and judging would take place remotely.

On the table, Emiliano Macias and Daniel Pantoja would be running the robot and Anthony Maya would be the time keeper. They ran the missions three times, noted the points earned after each time, with the referee recording the scores.

    Waiting to get started

Even though the team worked hard and did a super job, their hope of advancing to the state finals was not to be this year. However, their hard work and dedication will be rewarded because Dr. Ortiz promised them a trip to the state competition, which will take place at the George R. Brown Convention downtown. Our students are excited about that and are already making plans for next year's competition.

Congratulations to our team on advancing to the Regional Finals! Please enjoy the photos and the video below. Until next year!
