HISD Souper Bowl Of Caring

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide food drive led by youth, aiming to engage thousands of young individuals in the fight against hunger and poverty within their communities.
The Houston Independent School District Souper Pantries take center stage in this district-wide initiative. Your campus can significantly impact the lives of HISD students throughout the Houston area by hosting a drive.
HISD Community Partnerships department invites all campuses to host the 2024 Souper Bowl of Caring campaign on their campuses from January 29 through February 9, 2024.
To participate, please do the following:
1. Register your school or department now to host a food drive here
2. Collect - Determine whether you will collect actual food items, collect, and donate food items virtually, collect cash donations online, or all three.
Cash Donations: Cash donations can be collected online using https://hisdfoundation.kindful.com/?campaign=1169028.
Donation of Collected Food Items: Your collection of food items can be brought to the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center (4400 West 18th Street, Houston Texas 77092). A collection truck will be located outside from 9 AM to 5 PM starting Wednesday, February 7 to Friday, February 9, 2024.
3. Check out free resources for great ideas at www.tacklehunger.org.
4. Share - Encourage others to support the HISD effort to tackle hunger in the community! Have pictures or stories? We would love to share them on our social media pages! Tag us in your posts @Houstonxisd #SouperBowlOfCaring
