Both AP English Language & Composition and AP English Literature & Composition align to introductory college-level English courses. Each course engages students in the close reading and critical analysis of complex texts, as well as the production of imaginative and analytic/argumentative essays, to deepen their understanding of the ways writers use language to provide both meaning and pleasure.
